BMS Commissioning Engineer – Special Projects / Data Centres

We're working with a highly successful UK Systems Integrator that's growing its Special Projects division, delivering some of the most exciting and technically advanced data centre projects across the UK and Europe. This isn't another standard BMS commissioning position. You'll be working specifically within the data centre sector, with a major focus on the next generation of AI and water-cooled data centres being developed for some of the biggest names operating in the AI space. The Role You'll join the Special Projects team as a BMS Commissioning Engineer, working on complex, mission-critical data centre projects. The position is field based and you can be located anywhere in the UK, provided you're comfortable travelling to projects both nationally and across Europe. Projects could take you across the UK and into locations including Finland, Norway, the Netherlands and Germany, alongside other key European data centre markets. And there's a significant financial upside to the travel. When working in Europe you'll receive 1.5x your base salary, with your accommodation and associated travel costs covered, alongside extended periods of time off. That creates a genuine opportunity to substantially increase your earnings while gaining experience on some of the most advanced data centre projects in the market. What We're Looking For Previous data centre experience is essential. Due to the critical nature and complexity of these projects, you'll need to understand the environment, expectations and pace that come with delivering within mission-critical facilities. From a systems perspective, we'd ideally like experience with: Niagara / Tridium Schneider Electric BMS commissioning Data centre controls Mission-critical environments You don't necessarily need both Niagara and Schneider. Strong experience with either platform could work. You'll also have the opportunity to broaden your controls knowledge beyond traditional BMS, gaining exposure to the PLC world and technologies including Rockwell / Allen-Bradley and Ignition.Because what engineer doesn't want the opportunity to add more tools to their technical arsenal?
