Site Manager

Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a permanent opportunity in Stevenage. This role is suited to a capable professional who can lead safe, organised and productive site delivery. Working within Construction, you will take ownership of site supervision, subcontractors, programme, RAMS, quality, inspections, logistics, reporting and client liaison. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of site supervision, subcontractors, programme, RAMS, quality, inspections, logistics, reporting and client liaison.
• Apply sound professional judgement to lead safe, organised and productive site delivery.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Site Manager or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Construction.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Knowledge of applicable health & safety requirements.

Qualifications Required

• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications normally required for construction assignments.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in a comparable Construction environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
• Experience improving processes, service standards or team performance.
• A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused approach.
