Data Analyst

We are recruiting an accomplished Data Analyst for a professional permanent opportunity in Brighton. The role sits within Technology, Data & Digital and is aligned to Data & Analytics. This role is suited to a capable professional who can translate data into accurate, actionable business insight. Working within Data & Analytics, you will take ownership of SQL analysis, data cleansing, dashboards, KPI reporting, validation, stakeholder requirements and insight presentation. Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of SQL analysis, data cleansing, dashboards, KPI reporting, validation, stakeholder requirements and insight presentation.
• Apply sound professional judgement to translate data into accurate, actionable business insight.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Data Analyst or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Data & Analytics.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Good understanding of security, quality and documentation practices.

Qualifications Required

• Degree in Data, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related discipline; SQL/BI skills required.

• Previous experience in a comparable Data & Analytics environment.
