Door Supervisor

Radiant Jobs Ltd is seeking an experienced Door Supervisor for a temporary opportunity in London. The role sits within Industrial, Logistics & Security and is aligned to Licensed Venues & Events. This role is suited to a capable professional who can maintain safe and welcoming licensed venues and events. Working within Licensed Venues & Events, you will take ownership of entry control, ID checks, searches, conflict management, crowd safety, incident response and accurate reporting. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical or professional capability with sound judgement, clear communication and a consistently high standard of service. You will be expected to become effective quickly, adapt to the client environment and deliver confidently from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of entry control, ID checks, searches, conflict management, crowd safety, incident response and accurate reporting.
• Apply sound professional judgement to maintain safe and welcoming licensed venues and events.
• Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
• Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
• Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
• Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrable experience working as a Door Supervisor or in a closely related role.
• Practical experience relevant to Licensed Venues & Events.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
• Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
• Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
• Strong awareness of health & safety and site procedures.

Qualifications Required

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence; First Aid qualification desirable.

• Previous experience in a comparable Licensed Venues & Events environment.
• Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
• Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
