About the role:
We rewuire a Qualified Social worker for a 4 day week in a local authority in South East Wales, where you will co-ordinate and quality assure fostering assessments.
You will need to have significant experience in fostering and undertaking fostering assessments.
Key job responsibilities would include:
- Allocation of Form F and Form K assessments and Letters of Instruction
- Overseeing Assessment progress and timescales
- Liaising with independent assessors
- Tracking assessment quality ad completion
- Leading and quality assuring assessments, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Providing feedback to assessors
What you need:
- A degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Registered with Social Care Wales
- Significant experience in fostering assessments
- Enhanced DBS check
- Excellent communication and written skills
