1:1 SEND TA – Barnsley

A Primary School in Barnsley are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work full time in their school in September.   

Location: Barnsley – S73
Pay: £95 – £100 per day
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday
The position is required to start as soon as possible and will run until Summer.  Our client is looking for someone who is caring, confident in their behaviour management skills and has excellent communication skills. You will be working closely with the teacher who will direct you how to best support the child and help you develop a strong working relationship with the child.
The successful applicant will;

• Develop a strong, working relationship with the child to ensure the needs are met throughout the day.
• Be flexible to adapt to the child’s needs throughout the day.
• Always ensure the health and safety of the child in your care.
• Work with the Teacher to ensure the learning needs of the child are met.

As a Teaching Assistant with Provide Education, you will be required to hold a valid DBS, registered with the Update Service (if you do not hold a valid certificate, you will need to make a new application). All candidates are also required to hold a minimum of Level 1 in Safeguarding Children.
