Salary Up To £41,000pa | Hybrid Working

Our client, a top tier UK law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Legal Risk & Compliance professional to join them on a 12 month fixed-term contract in London - working as their Risk & Compliance Officer, covering maternity leave.

You'll be part of an experienced team and have a wide range of responsibilities, including (but not limited to):

- Conducting CDD on high-risk clients for the firm and counter-parties

- Ensuring compliance with the firm's ongoing monitoring obligations (AML)

- Answering AML queries raised by Fee-Earners and support staff

- Reviewing client matter files (both existing and new), ensuring proper client opening

- Communicating with clients and senior stakeholders

- Assisting the Compliance Manager with ad-hoc additional duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

- Have a minimum of 12 months experience in a Legal Risk & Compliance position

- Be able to commute to the London office at least 3 days a week

- Ideally, have a completed law degree

- Be able to commit to a 12m FTC
