Delivery Driver

Salary: £30,000 per annum + Overtime Available

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Store Delivery Driver to join their busy warehouse and distribution team based in Enfield.

This is a varied, hands-on role involving deliveries to retail stores and wholesale customers, as well as supporting larger deliveries as a driver’s mate when required. You’ll also assist with store openings and closures, helping to move stock, fixtures and fittings, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport and unload goods.

• Deliver products to stores and wholesale customers in a professional and timely manner.

• Assist with larger or long-distance deliveries as a driver’s mate when required.

• Support store openings and closures by moving stock, fixtures and fittings.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure safe handling of all goods.

• Follow all road traffic laws and company driving procedures.

• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery location.

• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• Minimum of 1 year’s UK 3.5T van driving experience.

• Full UK Category B driving licence with a clean driving record.

• Aged 25 or over (insurance requirements).

• Good time management and organisational skills.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving stock.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• Previous warehouse experience.

• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• Standard hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

• Some routes require 6:00am starts, which are paid at the overtime rate 1.5%.

• Early-start routes may increase working hours to approximately 46 hours per week.
