Responsibilities in your new role as Corporate Tax Manager

In this role, you'll carry out detailed technical reviews of complex corporate tax computations prepared by junior colleagues, providing constructive feedback to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.


You'll play a key role in developing the team by mentoring and training Tax Assistants, Tax Seniors and Tax Assistant Managers, while monitoring workflow, recoverability and billing across your client portfolio.


Working closely with clients, you'll deliver corporate tax compliance and advisory services, providing proactive tax planning advice tailored to their business needs.


You'll also support the growth of the team through involvement in recruitment, including the graduate intake programme, and provide formal line management for Tax Seniors and Trainees, helping them develop and progress in their careers.


Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a CTA-qualified tax professional with at least two years' experience in Corporate Tax Compliance and Advisory. You'll be confident managing client relationships and committed to delivering an exceptional standard of customer service.


You'll have excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients while collaborating effectively with colleagues across the firm. You'll also enjoy sharing your expertise, with the ability to deliver tax technical training and support the ongoing development of the wider team.


Experience using Alphatax would be advantageous, although it's not essential.


A full UK driving licence is required.
