Senior Residential Support Worker

• Salary: Up to £36,000 OTE (including sleep-ins) – negotiable for the right candidate

• Hours: 40 hours per week

Joneshouse Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a dedicated children’s residential care team. The Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a safe, nurturing residential setting, while also providing leadership and guidance to junior staff members.

• Starting salary from £28,080 per annum, plus sleep-ins

• Sleep-ins paid at £50 each (approximately 8 per month)

• Up to £36,000 OTE, depending on experience and qualifications

• Shift pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off

• Driving is an essential part of the role (full UK manual driving licence required)

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare (essential)

• Previous experience working as a Senior Support Worker within children’s residential care

• Strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, inspections, supervision, and whistleblowing

• Confident and committed to driving, including motorway and night driving

• Clean enhanced DBS

• Reliable, professional, and child-focused approach
