Cleaning and Waste Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cleaning and Waste Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy and operational. Your primary duties will include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and ensuring that restrooms and communal areas are kept clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies. You will also be tasked with the proper disposal of waste, segregating recyclables from general waste, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Experience in a similar cleaning or waste management role is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. You should have a good understanding of cleaning products and equipment, and be capable of following instructions and schedules effectively. A valid driver's license may be required for certain positions. This role demands physical stamina, as you will be on your feet for extended periods and may need to lift or move equipment and waste materials.
