Location: Barking, Essex
Salary: £36,000 to £40,000 per annum DOE
OTE: £65,000 to £80,000 with Overtime
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Noble Recruiting is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established engineering company in Barking, Essex.

Based within a busy workshop, you will work as part of a skilled engineering team carrying out industrial motor repairs, gearbox repairs, pump fitting and air handling unit work. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on Mechanical Engineer looking to join a stable business with excellent overtime potential.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Repairing and refurbishing industrial motors and gearboxes
• Fitting pumps and air handling units
• Carrying out mechanical workshop repairs and maintenance
• Operating lathes and other workshop machinery where required
• Working to high engineering and quality standards
• Supporting the workshop team to deliver work safely and efficiently

You will need:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong hands on mechanical engineering skills
• Experience repairing industrial motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar equipment
• Experience using workshop machinery is beneficial
• Lathe experience would be advantageous but full training can be provided
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
