An established engineering company in Basildon is expanding following continued growth and new contract wins. They are looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Fanuc controls experience who enjoys producing high quality precision components within the automotive, aerospace or defence sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines
• Change tooling and make machine adjustments
• Machine aluminium and stainless steel components
• Inspect large scale precision components
• Read and work from engineering drawings
• Maintain high quality and accuracy standards

Experience required

• Minimum three years’ experience setting and operating CNC turning machines
• Fanuc controls experience is essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience within the automotive, aerospace or defence industries
• Strong attention to detail and quality focused approach
