The successful candidate will join an established team of care practitioners, taking accountability for the following duties:

• Deliver exceptional, round-the-clock care to vulnerable young individuals within a secure residential setting.

• Provide trauma-informed care and tailored emotional support to children managing complex behavioural difficulties.

• Actively encourage community integration and development by escorting service users to educational facilities and local activities.

• Establish and uphold clear, healthy professional boundaries at all times.

• Adhere strictly to National Care Standards while maintaining an exemplary level of professionalism.

• Collaborate seamlessly with internal colleagues to ensure a safe, nurturing, and progressive living environment.

To excel in this application, you must demonstrate the following attributes:

• Proven Background: A minimum of one year of experience working directly with young people in a residential care environment.

• Regulatory Compliance: Active registration under the PVG scheme, or a willingness to obtain it immediately.

• Essential Qualifications: An SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or an equivalent, relevant qualification) is highly desirable, though candidates actively working towards this will be considered.

• Mobility: A full UK driving licence is required to facilitate community outings and appointments.

• Core Competencies: Excellent interpersonal communication skills coupled with a adaptable, proactive mindset.
