About the role
Sitesi is a digital agency working with businesses across a wide range of industries, delivering websites, web applications, hosting, e‑commerce, SEO, PPC, print, email marketing and managed IT services.
We are looking for a Web Developer College Placement Student to join our team at Leah’s Yard in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity for someone studying web development, computing, software development or a related subject who wants hands‑on experience inside a real digital and marketing agency.
About the Role
As a Web Developer Placement Student, you will support the Sitesi team across a range of live client projects. You will gain practical experience in website development, WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP development, hosting, server maintenance and the day‑to‑day workings of a digital agency.
You will work alongside experienced developers and professionals, learning how client projects are planned, built, tested, launched and maintained.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role may include:
- Assisting with the development of WordPress websites
- Supporting WooCommerce e‑commerce builds and updates
- Helping build and maintain PHP‑based web applications
- Supporting website maintenance tasks, updates and fixes
- Learning about hosting environments, domains, DNS and server maintenance
- Supporting client project delivery from brief through to launch
- Helping troubleshoot issues and document solutions
- Learning how an agency operates day to day
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious and keen to learn.
You should have:

- A willingness to learn
- A positive attitude and the confidence to ask questions
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Previous commercial experience is not required. This placement is designed to help you learn and develop your skills in a professional environment.
