About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Contract Mechanical Engineer to support an exciting project involving the design of sub-modules for integration onto an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). The Details: Rate: Circa £550 - £575 per day (outside IR35) Duration: Initially 6–8 weeks, with potential to extend Start: ASAP Location: Hybrid, with some on-site working at Plextek Clearance: SC clearance preferred, but not essentialIdeally, you'll have: Strong mechanical design experience using Creo Experience with Windchill file management Familiarity with the AAX plugin for CreoExperience designing aerodynamic enclosures and radomes would be highly advantageous, as would the ability to liaise with xjnqpsq manufacturing facilities to arrange rapid-turnaround production and advise on materials and manufacturing methods.
