Pay: £12.71 per hour Job Description: Location: Rochdale Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm Weekend Hours: 7:00am – 2:00pm We are currently recruiting Packers on behalf of our client in Rochdale. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals to join a busy warehouse team. The role involves packing products accurately and efficiently, using scanners and working towards daily productivity targets. The Role As a Packer, your duties will include: * Packing products accurately and efficiently * Using a tape gun to seal boxes * Using handheld scanners * Checking products and orders for accuracy * Preparing parcels for dispatch * Working towards a KPI of 60 units per hour * Maintaining a clean and organised working area * Working as part of a busy warehouse team * Being on your feet throughout the shift Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm * Mondays: Start time may be brought forward to 7:00am during busy periods * Weekends: 7:00am – 2:00pm * Flexibility to work weekends when required Requirements * Previous packing or warehouse experience is desirable * Must be confident using a tape gun * Able to follow written and verbal instructions * Must be comfortable using handheld scanners * Able to work towards a target of 60 units per hour * Comfortable working on your feet all day * Reliable, punctual and hardworking * Good attention to detail * Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment PPE Required Candidates will need: * Hi-Vis * Safety Shoes Major Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers. xjnqpsq By applying, you accept our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimers, available on our website.
