About the role

• You will be based at our Landor Street Depot, Nechells, Birmingham, B8 1AE.
• You will be working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 05:30am - 15:30pm.

What will I be doing?

This role will predominantly support the Quality Management System, with you at the start of the process and the first to review the all waste material entering site, identifying target and non-target material, playing a critical role to how the material is processed, the quality of the product being produced and how we manage our customers along the journey.

The role will involve:

• Following sampling, recording levels of target material and reporting back on non-conformance.
• Weighbridge operation (full training provided) and general housekeeping.

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, to join the existing team and help ensure site operations exceed required standards.

The role requires:

• A flexible approach will be needed, including providing holiday and sickness cover.
• A methodical approach, ideally with some QA experience but full training will be given
• Good safety awareness, with a desire to embrace and develop continuous improvement.
• Previous high-volume production process experience, ideally some in the waste industry
• Good IT literacy and any lean on 5’s are a bonus
