About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of data-driven performance activity to join our Health and Employability Team to inform commissioning and delivery of health and employment projects.
This is a new role and opportunity to shape the function and help make the North East the Home of Real Opportunity by leading complex, data-driven work across health and employability programmes. You will bring together regional labour market insight and programme intelligence to inform decisions, scrutiny and improvements in delivery and future commissioning of activities.
The Role
As Project Manager – Data, you will establish and coordinate effective data collection and processes and produce reports agreed objectives, financial targets and performance and quality frameworks for a range of audiences.
You work closely with partners internally and externally and be a key point of contact with the Data and Insights team producing labour market insights. You will be able to analyse and interpret data and information to support service planning and policy development.
About You
You will have experience of using data and performance intelligence to manage projects, alongside strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be comfortable turning complex information into practical insight and working across multiple workstreams.
We're looking for someone who can:
- Develop and coordinate robust data analysis and performance processes.
- Use labour market and programme intelligence to inform delivery.
- Monitor project objectives, financial targets and quality frameworks.
- Present clear findings and updates to managers and stakeholders.
- Build partnerships and support inclusive, evidence-led improvements.
This is not simply a data reporting or spreadsheet role. Success will come from using evidence to challenge assumptions, support decisions and improve project outcomes, while working directly with delivery organisations and stakeholders.
So, if you...
- Enjoy making complex data meaningful and useful.
- Can combine analytical thinking with project delivery.
- Are confident engaging partners and presenting findings.
- Want evidence to drive better outcomes for North East communities....we'd love to hear from you.
If you would like an informal discussion, or further information about this role please contact Nicky Laird, Programme Manager, [email removed]
