Head Chef
\nNear Duxford, CB10
\n£38,000 - £45,000 plus tronc
\nWe’re recruiting a Head Chef on behalf of a fresh food gastro pub with rooms. This is an opportunity to lead a brigade of six and oversee a kitchen focused on freshly prepared food.
\nKey responsibilities
\n- \n
- Lead, motivate and develop a kitchen team of six \n
- Oversee food preparation and service \n
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and food hygiene \n
- Contribute to menu planning \n
- Manage ordering, stock control and food costs \n
- Keep the kitchen organised and running smoothly \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- At least two years’ experience as a Head Chef \n
- A passion for fresh food and quality cooking \n
- Strong leadership and organisational skills \n
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work well under pressure \n
- A full, valid driving licence and access to a car; essential due to the village location \n
