Chemical Process Operator
\n Location: Deeside
\n Salary: £34,320 during probation, increasing to £39,962 upon successful completion
\n Hours: 12-hour Days & Nights - Panama Shift Pattern

We are recruiting for a Chemical Process Operator to join an established chemical manufacturing plant in Deeside. This is a permanent position working a rotating 12-hour shift pattern, covering both days and nights.

The role will involve operating and monitoring chemical production processes, ensuring production targets are achieved safely and efficiently whilst maintaining product quality and adhering to site procedures.

The Role:

• Operating and monitoring plant processes, adjusting operating conditions where necessary.
\n • Controlling production rates to meet demand and maintain agreed stock levels.
\n • Overseeing the production and packaging of finished products to customer specifications.
\n • Completing routine plant inspections and maintaining accurate production records.
\n • Following operating procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and permit-to-work requirements.
\n • Monitoring safety systems and responding appropriately to alarms.
\n • Maintaining high standards of health and safety throughout the plant.

About You:

• Previous experience working with hazardous materials, ideally within a chemical, manufacturing or process environment.
\n • Experience operating industrial plant or production processes.
\n • A good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
\n • Good numerical, written and verbal communication skills.
\n • A current FLT licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided.

Shift Pattern:

12-hour rotating Panama shift pattern covering days and nights, working a repeating cycle of:

2 days on, 2 off, 3 nights on, 2 off, 2 days on, 3 off.
\n 2 nights on, 2 off, 3 days on, 2 off, 2 nights on, 3 off.
