Assistant Financial Controller Bath Hospitality
£35,000 - £42,000
We're working with an established hospitality business in Bath that is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller to join its growing finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous finance or accounts experience who enjoys a hands-on role, working closely with operational teams and getting involved in a variety of finance activities.
What will you be doing?
Completing daily revenue, cash and credit card reconciliations
Investigating discrepancies and reviewing financial transactions
Supporting credit control and chasing outstanding debt
Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
Maintaining financial trackers, sales forecasts and performance reports
Supporting month-end processes and providing financial analysis
Working closely with operational managers to support business performance
What are we looking for?
Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
Good understanding of reconciliations and financial processes
Organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines
Hospitality experience would be advantageous, but isn't essential
