About the role
In this role, you will design, build and ship the AI capability behind AJW's core AI products, helping us evolve from single-purpose assistants into a more autonomous, agent- and memory-driven platform. The role combines hands-on AI/ML engineering with close collaboration across the AI Innovation team to bring new AI capability into reliable, production use.
What you’ll be doing:
Writing, testing and deploying AI/ML code (Python) integrated with existing systems.
Designing and refining agent behaviours, prompts and retrieval approaches.
Reviewing AI feature performance and monitoring data, adjusting as needed.
Collaborating with the Data Engineer, Business Analyst and Team Lead on priorities and technical approach.
Supporting AI Champions and other colleagues using self-service AI tools.
Contributing to documentation supporting responsible AI and governance practices.
