Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking for your next long-term teaching opportunity? Are you available with an immediate start?
Academics, a reputable education agency, are currently recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school in Buxton, Derbyshire, who are looking for a confident and committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, fixed-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher looking for a stable role, covering a long-term absence with an immediate start available initially until Christmas, with the potential for the role to continue until the end of the academic year (July 2027).
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3-KS4
- Maintain a positive learning environment and strong classroom behaviour
- Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress

What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - Secondary Mathematics
- Recent experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
- An enthusiastic and reliable approach to delivering outstanding teaching
- ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply
