A well-established and growing retail business based in the heart of Bath is seeking a proactive Credit Controller to join its finance team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful organisation with a strong brand presence and a supportive working environment. The role will play a key part in managing customer accounts, maintaining cash flow and building strong relationships with clients across the business.Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts
• Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and email
• Reducing aged debt and improving debtor days
• Resolving invoice and payment queries efficiently
• Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts
• Producing debtor reports and aged debt analysis
• Working closely with internal departments to resolve disputes
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements

What you'll need to succeed
About You

• Previous experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident handling difficult conversations professionally
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Competent user of Excel and finance systems
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently
