About the role
Groundworker / Block Paving Operative
Private Domestic Project | Immediate Start | Work Until End of December
We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker / Block Paver to join a subcontractor team working on a high-quality private domestic project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operative looking for steady work through to the end of December.
The Role
Working as part of an established site team, your duties will include:
- Setting out and carrying out all aspects of groundworks
- Stoning and preparation works
- Kerbing installation
- Block paving and paving works
- Operating a Wacker Plate
- Assisting with drainage and underground service works
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous groundworks experience
- Proven block paving / paving experience
- Knowledge of underground pipes and drainage systems
- CSCS Card (or equivalent relevant certification)
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Own basic hand tools would be advantageous
Details
- Location: Private domestic project
- Start Date: Immediate
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Duration: Until the end of December
- Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
