1. About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cyber Security Analyst with 3–5 years of industry experience in cyber security and a good understanding of networking fundamentals. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, identifying potential threats, investigating security incidents, and implementing security measures to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and a solid understanding of network security concepts.

2. Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts, logs, and events to identify potential cyber threats and suspicious activities.

Analyze and investigate security incidents, including phishing attacks, malware, and unauthorized access.

Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.

Monitor and maintain security controls across networks, endpoints, and systems.

Understand and analyse network traffic, firewall logs, and security events.

Assist in incident response, threat detection, and security investigations.

Work with IT and infrastructure teams to identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.

Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.

Maintain security documentation and prepare regular security reports.

Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.

3. Eligibility and Required Skills

3–5 years of industry experience in Cyber Security.

Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, and subnetting.

Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.

Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident investigation.

Understanding of SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or IBM QRadar.

Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and patch management.

Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
