Purchasing Administrator
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a well-established manufacturing business that is looking for an organised, detail-focused Purchasing & Supply Chain Administrator to join their team.

You’ll split your time between purchasing and supply chain. You’ll make sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time, and you’ll work closely with Production, Sales and Dispatch to keep the operation running smoothly. If you enjoy numbers, systems and solving problems, this role offers plenty of variety.

The role

• Managing the current supplier base and ensure data is recorded accurately
• Raising and administering purchase orders
• Setting reorder points and resolving invoice queries
• Managing stock and keeping electronic and paper records accurate
• Making sure materials are available and giving lead times to Sales and Dispatch
• Receipting goods, monitoring finished goods stock levels and moving stock between divisions

About you

• Experience in purchasing, or a similar administration role, ideal but not essential
• Confident with Excel and comfortable producing clear, accurate reports
• Excellent attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
• A confident communicator who builds good relationships with suppliers and internal teams
