Senior Payroll Administrator

Location: Gloucester
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join a well-established business based in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident payroll professional to take responsibility for coordinating payroll processes and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Coordinate end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met.

• Process new starters, leavers, salary changes, tax codes and pension contributions.

• Ensure payroll processes comply with HMRC requirements.

• Prepare and submit payroll reports, maintaining accurate payroll records.

• Maintain payroll schedules and communicate key deadlines.

• Support employee onboarding and maintain accurate holiday and absence records.

• At least 3 years' experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally within an SME environment.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and HMRC requirements.

• Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
