SEMH Secondary Teaching Assistant required - ASAP start.
Wimborne, Dorset Full-Time | Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH secondary school in Wimborne that supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is seeking compassionate, resilient and motivated Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team.
You don't need previous school-based experience to apply. If you have the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for supporting young people, comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting students in lessons and around the school.
- Building positive relationships with young people.
- Encouraging engagement, confidence and independence.
- Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing.
- Helping create a safe and supportive learning environment.
