Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant After-School Club

Location: Forefield Infant School, Crosby
Hours: Monday Friday, 3pm 6pm
Duration: 1 month (temporary position)

The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Forefield Infant School in Crosby and is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their after-school club for one month.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and creating a fun, safe and welcoming environment after the school day.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the after-school club.
• Providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children.
• Planning and supporting fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Encouraging children's learning, development and social skills through play.
• Supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing where required.
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensuring children are safely supervised and accounted for throughout the session.

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a Level 3 EYFS-related qualification (essential due to staffing ratios).
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Have experience working with Early Years children.
• Be caring, approachable and enthusiastic.
• Be confident supporting children's play, learning and development.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding.
