Role: Teaching Assistant

Key Duties:

• Work with small groups or 1-on-1 with students struggling with complex concepts in core subjects.
• Act as a reader, scribe, or invigilator during formal exams and assessments.
• Manage classroom behaviour and keep adolescent students focused on tasks.
• Assist subject teachers with preparing classroom resources, lab gear, and handouts.
• Monitor attendance, report safeguarding concerns, and track student progress for teachers.

What You Need:

• Any background working with young people (schools, sports coaching, youth groups, or mentoring).
• An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willing to process one immediately).
• A strong, calm presence and the confidence to manage a room of teenagers.
