Teaching Assistant
Job Type: Full-time, term-time
Location: Rural Lancaster
Pay Rate: £16.89 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:15
Start Date: Immediate
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS and KS1 in a rural primary school setting. This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for a Level 3 qualified candidate who enjoys supporting early learning and helping children thrive in the classroom. Day-to-day of the role
Support pupils across EYFS and KS1 with their learning and development
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging classroom activities
Help prepare learning materials and maintain an organised learning environment
Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed
Encourage positive behaviour and classroom participation
Support pupils with routines, transitions, and day-to-day classroom tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting children in EYFS and/or KS1
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a school team
Understanding of safeguarding and supporting positive pupil development
