About the role
An established and highly regarded law firm near Seaham is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy and successful Residential Property department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancer to manage a varied caseload and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role You will be responsible for handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Re-mortgages
- New build transactions
- Shared ownership matters
- Help to Buy transactions
- Right to Buy purchases
- Title investigations and reporting
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
About You The successful candidate will:
- Be either a qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with around 3 years PQE
- Have experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload with minimal supervision
- Possess strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
- Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Have a commercial and proactive approach to case management
