Site Manager

Location: Farnham, Surrey

We are working with an established construction contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team, based on a project in Farnham.

The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across the South East, with experience spanning bespoke residential, refurbishment, heritage and conservation works.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced Senior Site Manager who can take responsibility for the day-to-day running of projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for site operations and project delivery.
• Manage Site Managers, subcontractors and direct labour.
• Plan and monitor programmes, ensuring key deadlines are achieved.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across site.
• Coordinate trades, materials and site resources.
• Work closely with the Contracts Manager, project team and clients.
• Monitor quality of workmanship and ensure projects are completed to specification.
• Identify and resolve site issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager.
• Background in general contracting, ideally across refurbishment, bespoke residential or heritage projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, programming and site management.
• SMSTS, First Aid and relevant CSCS card.
• Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
