This is an opportunity to step into a varied Data Coach position, combining technical training, coaching, client engagement and commercial exposure within a growing Data & Analytics consultancy!

A fast-growing Data & Analytics consultancy helping organisations build their data capabilities through a combination of specialist consulting, technical training and talent development. Working with businesses across a range of industries, they develop data professionals and help clients strengthen their internal analytics capabilities through tailored training programmes and practical, hands-on learning. The Role
As a Data Coach, you will take ownership of delivering high-quality technical training and coaching, supporting both internal consultant development programmes and external client engagements.
You’ll work with individuals at different stages of their data careers, helping them develop the technical capabilities and commercial understanding needed to succeed in real-world environments.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging technical training across Data, Analytics and AI, adapting your approach to different audiences and levels of experience.
- Coaching and mentoring consultants, helping them apply their technical knowledge to practical business challenges.
- Designing and developing training materials, exercises and learning programmes.
- Supporting the development of new training products and propositions.
- Working directly with external clients to understand their requirements and deliver bespoke training solutions.
- Supporting pre-sales activity, contributing technical expertise to client conversations, proposals and potential new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Contributing to wider consulting projects where your technical expertise can add value.
This is a genuinely varied position, offering exposure to training, consulting, client delivery and commercial activity!
Your Skills & Experience
- Previous experience delivering technical training, coaching, mentoring or facilitating workshops.
- Strong technical understanding across areas such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Data Engineering, Data Science or Cloud technologies.
- The ability to simplify complex technical concepts and communicate them to audiences with varying levels of technical ability.
- Confident presenting and facilitating engaging training sessions.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to contribute to client conversations and pre-sales activity.
Above all, I’m looking for someone who combines genuine technical credibility with a passion for developing people.
