Process Technologist

Are you passionate about food innovation and bringing great products to life? The Cuisine Centre is looking for a Process Technologist to help deliver new and existing chilled and frozen meal products from concept through to successful factory launch.

As part of our Process Development team, you'll work closely with New Product Development, Production, Technical and Quality teams to ensure products are launched safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting factory trials and product launches for chilled and frozen meal products.
• Scaling recipes from development kitchen to full production.
• Monitoring trial performance, including yields, waste and product quality.
• Producing process documentation and manufacturing instructions.
• Working with operational teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise product performance.
• Supporting investigations into process and quality issues.
• Assisting with continuous improvement projects across the site.

 What We're Looking For

• Experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally chilled or frozen foods.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience supporting factory trials, product launches or process development activities.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to spend time on the factory floor.

Desirable

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline.
