Stores Assistant (Engineering/Manufacturing) Birmingham (B8) 12.71 per hour 25,775 per annum + Full–Time/Permanent + Training in Sage/MRP system + Established International Business + Mon–Fri – NO WEEKENDS / DAY SHIFT + Growing and Successful Business Excellent opportunity for a Stores Assistant to join an internationally recognised manufacturer, in a full–time/permanent role, working a Mon–Fri days shift where you'll receive training in working with Sage software. Based in Birmingham, the company designs and manufactures specialist products for the marine industry. They pride themselves on being a great place to work, which is shown by their great staff retention. They have recently moved to newly equipped larger premise and due to growth are currently seeking a Stores Assistant on a full–time/permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and kitting parts for production, managing stock movements, receiving deliveries and supporting packing and despatch. You will also maintain accurate stock records using the company's Sage MRP system. THE ROLE: Picking, packing and kitting parts for production, including goods–in and despatch. Managing stock levels, locations and movements using Sage MRP. Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring health and safety standards are followed. Training in Sage MRP systems THE PERSON: Previous Stores or Warehouse experience, ideally within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
