Warehouse Operative / Occasional Driver

Assist with the day–to–day running and organisation of the main warehouse and secondary warehouse. Receive and dispatch goods, ensuring all incoming and outgoing items are correctly processed. Produce good in/out notes for goods entering and leaving the warehouse. Weigh and measure packages accurately and relay information to the Logistics Coordinator. Complete fulfilment orders accurately and within required timescales. Carry out regular stock checks of warehouse items, equipment and facilities. Ensure stock is stored safely, securely and in an organised manner. Maintain a clean, tidy and clear warehouse environment, ensuring walkways and working areas remain safe and accessible. Operate pallet trucks and forklift equipment as required. Forklift training will be provided. Load and unload vehicles Drive a small company van for deliveries, collections and other business–related requirements, safely , professionally and on time. Maintain the company van, including checking fluid levels, tyre condition and general cleanliness, and reporting any issues promptly. Assist with off–site work as required. Follow company health and safety procedures and ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times. Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, Logistics Coordinator and other members of the team. Undertake other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required following successful completion of the probationary period.
