Care Assistant – Day & Night Shifts Available Job Type: Full or Part Time positions available (20–40 hours per week) Location: Ixworth, Suffolk Salary: GBP13.67 – GBP14.24 per hour, plus GBP1,000 Welcome bonus At Beeches Residential Care Home we are focused on making our care home not just luxury place for our residents to live, but also wonderful place for our team members to work in. The Role As a Care Assistant, you will be required to provide the best possible care and support both physically and emotionally to residents on a daily or nightly basis. We have both day and night shift positions available, with full and part–time hours offered. Your responsibilities will include personal care, getting ready for the day or night ahead, assisting with set routines and providing an exceptional level of care and support during the day or night. For our night shift roles, you will support our residents throughout the night, ensuring they are comfortable, safe and well cared for. You will assist with their individual night–time routines, respond to their needs and ensure any concerns are reported appropriately. Being a Care Assistant is a busy role where resident's needs will be your top priority. You will be supported by a senior in charge on every shift as well as a very supportive management team. You will ensure all residents activity is recorded effectively (training will be provided) and any concerns are highlighted in a timely manner.
