A well-regarded regional law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Practitioner to join its established and supportive Private Client team.
Based primarily in East Sussex, this role offers you the opportunity to manage a varied caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues in a collaborative environment. The position would suit a lawyer looking to take the next step towards a more senior role.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a broad private client caseload including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, Court of Protection matters, and estate administration
- Providing exceptional client care and building long-term client relationships
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Meeting agreed fee income targets
- Supervising and mentoring support staff
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and professional training
About You
- Qualified Private Client Solicitor or Practitioner with at least 3 years' PQE
- Experience handling a broad range of private client matters
- Strong organisational and case management skills
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Excellent client care, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Positive, proactive, and approachable attitude
- Networking and business development experience would be advantageous
