Job Description

Driver Hire Crewe are currently recruiting for  Robot Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Sandbach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals looking to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment, with full training provided and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but we’re primarily looking for candidates with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Working Hours & Pay Rates

Successful applicants will initially complete approximately 1–2 weeks of training on day shifts before moving onto a rotating weekly shift pattern.

Initial Training – Day Shift (£12.71 per hour)

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 – 12:30

Early Shift (£14.30 per hour)

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00
• Friday: 06:00 – 12:00

Late Shift (£15.89 per hour)

• Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
• Friday: 12:00 – 18:00

Overtime available at £16.90 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating robotic machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Loading and unloading materials and components.
• Monitoring machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products.
• Following health and safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous machine operating, production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work rotating early and late shifts.
• A team player who is looking for a long-term opportunity.

Full training will be provided by an experienced Team Leader, so previous robotic machinery experience is not essential.
