Payroll Clerk | 3-Month Contract | Leeds (Hybrid) | £124 – £142 per day (Umbrella) | Global Consumer Tech Brand | JRVB3667 

We’re partnering with a fast-growing global consumer technology brand to find a People Operations Coordinator to join their EMEA People & Culture team on an initial 3-month temporary contract reporting to the Senior People Operations Manager. 

The role has a clear primary focus on accurate, timely payroll input and processing across UK and European markets, alongside supporting core HR operations and employee experience as priorities shift. You’ll keep the people data behind payroll correct, support the payroll run end to end, and maintain the day-to-day HR service employees and managers rely on. 

The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Leeds office. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Input and verify all payroll-impacting changes, including starters, leavers, pay changes, promotions, transfers, and allowance or benefit changes 

• Complete pre-payroll checks and validation reports, resolving discrepancies before submission 

• Collect supporting evidence and approvals for every payroll change in line with audit requirements 

• Work with the EMEA Payroll team on queries, corrections, off-cycle payments, and run timelines 

• Document payroll procedures and checklists to support a clean handover at contract end 

• Act as first point of contact for People queries across departments and markets via the HR inbox 

• Support benefits administration across markets, including enrolment, vendor engagement, and invoicing 

• Support wider People projects, system updates, policy and communications, and process improvement as needed 

About You 

• Recent, hands-on payroll input or processing experience covering UK and European payrolls 

• Experience in a multi-market or multi-entity environment 

• Working knowledge of HR operations, including benefits administration
