Opening as a Warner in 2024, this beautiful hotel on the River Thames near Windsor offers award-winning spa facilities, restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities.Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per year + Benefits We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join the culinary team at the Runnymede Hotel, helping to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests. What will I be doing? As Sous Chef, you'll be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring all stations are properly organised and prepared for service. Supervising and training junior chefs, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment. Ensuring food safety standards are always adhered to, including proper storage, handling, and cooking techniques. Monitoring inventory levels and managing food costs to meet financial targets. Supporting the Head Chef in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and responding to guest feedback What are we looking for? A Sous Chef who understands the importance of working in a branded environment. You will have the ability to create a culture of support and actively encourages teamwork. Willingness to challenge if standards aren’t meeting required levels. A chef with a passion for great food and service. What skills do I need? Understands the important of working with a branded menu. Experience of managing orders, food stocks and forecast against occupancy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and can adapt quickly to changing requirements. Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the department’s budget.
