Machine Operator/Mechanical Assembler Birmingham 12.71 per hour 25,775 per annum + Full–Time/Permanent + Established International Business + Mon–Fri – NO WEEKENDS / DAY SHIFT + Growing and Successful Business Excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join an internationally recognised manufacturer, in a full–time/permanent role, working a Mon–Fri days shift. Based in Birmingham, the company designs and manufactures specialist products for the marine industry. They have recently moved to newly equipped larger premise and due to growth are seeking a Machine Operator/Mechanical Assembler to join their team. In this role, you will manufacture and assemble mechanical components, using a range of manual machines, bench processes and engineering techniques. You will also be responsible for finishing components and ensuring all work meets required specifications and quality standards. This is a great chance to join a highly stable business, in a full–time/permanent role offering a great work/life balance. THE ROLE: Manufacturing mechanical and electro–mechanical assemblies. Operating manual machinery and carrying out finishing processes, including polishing, linishing and painting. Following engineering drawings and assembly instructions, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. THE PERSON: Experience using manual machinery, including lathes, mills, drills and presses. Ability to read engineering drawings, follow assembly instructions and use measuring equipment.
