About the role
We are looking for a temporary/interim commercially minded Finance Manager/Controller to take ownership of a broad finance function, combining financial control, reporting and business partnering within a dynamic operational business. Lead the production of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and medium-term business planning. Partner with operational teams to provide commercial insight, challenge performance and support decision-making. Support investment decisions through business cases and capital expenditure analysis. Manage year-end accounts, statutory reporting and external audit. Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and accurate financial records. Oversee transactional finance, credit control and payroll. Lead, support and develop the wider finance team. You will be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a commercially focused approach. You will bring experience across management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial control, alongside the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders.
