Position title: Wraparound Assistant (AM and/or PM)
Start date: September 1st 2026
Contract type: Permanent
Grade: TA 2
Hours: 22 hours and 30 mins per week.
Term Time only, Plus 5 pro-rata TED days.
7:30am - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Monday - Friday, term time only + TED days
We are happy to consider splitting the role into two positions, one AM and one PM position.
Location: St Anne's CE Primary School and Nursery, Wyre Hill, Bewdley, DY12 2UQ
This position is for an EYFS trained Teaching Assistant, this is not desirable, it is required for the role.
The Governors of St Anne's CE Primary School and Nursery wish to appoint an enthusiastic EYFS trained, Wraparound Assistant to support the team in our ever-growing before and after school club.
Role Overview
To support the wraparound manager in all aspects of running the school’s wraparound childcare, including supporting activities, liaising with parents/carers, and ensuring excellent care and safety at all times. Our wraparound is available to the whole school, including Nursery. We are looking for an EYFS trained Teaching Assistant to support with our Nursery children initially, but also with the older children as needed.
Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed. This will include details of cautions, reprimands, or final warnings, as well as convictions. The County Council has a commitment to safeguarding service users in our care.
