About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional looking to develop their career within a supportive nursery environment that values children's learning, development and wellbeing.
The position offers a choice of 37 hours across four days or 40 hours across five days, alongside a generous holiday entitlement of up to 35 days per year. This opportunity would particularly suit an experienced Early Years professional seeking a rewarding role with greater flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.
You will be:
-
Providing high-quality care and education for young children in line with the EYFS
-
Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play
-
Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive
-
Supporting children's individual learning, development and emotional wellbeing
-
Acting as a key person and developing positive relationships with children and their families
-
Completing observations and assessments to monitor children's progress and inform future planning
-
Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development
-
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and professional practice
-
Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality Early Years provision
-
Contributing positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery
The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and ideally have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development, alongside excellent communication and teamwork skills.
We are looking for someone patient, reliable and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting young children's development and creating meaningful learning experiences.
