Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School

Location: DN7
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Until Christmas, with the possibility of a longer-term placement
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Provide Education are currently recruiting for a flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming primary school in the DN7 area.

This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting pupils across all primary year groups. The successful candidate will be required to provide a mixture of general classroom support and SEND support, adapting to the needs of different pupils and classrooms throughout the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Be confident supporting children across a range of ages and abilities.
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs.
• Be flexible and happy to work across different year groups.
• Be proactive, patient and adaptable.
• Support class teachers with learning activities and classroom management.
• Have a positive, nurturing approach and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.

The role offers:

• A full-time, Monday to Friday position.
• An immediate start.
• Work across all primary year groups.
• A mixture of general TA and SEND support.
• An initial placement until Christmas, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.
