About the role
SEN Teaching Assistant Nursery Setting, Dewsbury
We are looking for a caring, patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming nursery setting in Dewsbury.
The successful candidate will support children with additional needs, helping them to develop their communication, social and learning skills within a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for children with SEN.
Support children's learning, play and development.
Follow individual support plans and strategies.
Encourage communication, independence and positive behaviour.
Work closely with nursery staff, parents and other professionals.
The Ideal Candidate:
Has experience working with children with SEN.
Is patient, caring and nurturing.
Has a positive and flexible approach.
Is passionate about supporting early years development.
All applicants will be subject to satisfactory referencing and an enhanced DBS check.
